Already a bestseller, the new Class A 12 Litre dehumidifier from UK market leaders, Meaco, combines good looks, powerful dehumidifying - and exceptionally low running costs. No wonder it’s part of Meaco’s Platinum Range.
This dehumidifier was shown to use only 165 Watts per hour which means it can remove moisture in your home or office at super low energy consumption levels. This means you'll be protecting your home or business from mould, condensation and dampness - without worrying about your electricity bills or compromising on performance. HEPA filters are available from us directly (MEAHEPA12).
We are delighted to offer this unit with a free three-year guarantee - giving you an additional 2 year’s peace of mind compared to the standard one-year manufacturers warranty.
This unit is ideal for an apartment, three bedroom home, garage or workshop. (For larger homes, please see the Meaco 20LE.) It will extract up to 12 litres of moisture every day and can be plumbed in permanently, or emptied using the integral tank.
When in “Laundry Mode” the louvre directs the drying power across the garments to produce a gentle, even drying motion that is suitable for even the most delicate laundry and baby clothes. A child lock and automatic cut-out function is included for when the tank is full.
The design is strong and contemporary and includes integral carrying handles so that you can move the Meaco 12LE around your home easily. The Meaco 12LE also includes a HEPA filter to protect your home and family from allergens such as dust mites, smoke and other particulates that aggravate allergies and dermatitis.
In addition to its robust design, this unit uses a humidistat with intelligent logic to optimise performance still further. Traditional dehumidifiers often keep the fan running permanently - in contrast, Meaco’s intelligent humidistat checks the humidity levels every 30 minutes and “sleeps” in between - thus saving even more electricity.
In fact, every component in the Platinum Range has been redesigned from the ground up to keep running costs as low as possible. This means that you can use the power of a Meaco dehumidifier to dry laundry and protect your home from mould, condensation and damp - no more windows with condensation, bubbling wall-paper or that damp, chilly feeling and tell-tale smell.
Our technical editors says:
“Platinum design combined with platinum-strength energy efficiency and cost savings, the Meaco 12LE is the obvious choice for the eco-conscious small home.”

Why is a high pitched noise coming from my Compressor Dehumidifier?
Dehumidifiers using R290 refrigerant often have a high pitched noise when first starting. Similar to a car starting on a cold winter's day, the compressor will often sound different until the internal temperature has risen. This, in most cases, would take around an hour of operation.
