Product Overview

Quiet, Compact and Efficient – The MeacoDry ABC 12L Compressor Dehumidifier

Enjoy cleaner, drier air with the MeacoDry ABC 12L Compressor Dehumidifier – a quiet, low-energy solution for managing humidity in flats, small homes, and apartments. With a maximum extraction rate of 12 litres per day (at 30°C, 80% RH), it helps prevent damp, mould, and condensation while also speeding up indoor laundry drying. Featuring a maximum airflow of 105m³/h, it offers powerful performance in a slim, modern design that blends effortlessly into any room.

Engineered for quiet performance, the ABC12L operates as low as 36dB and never louder than 40dB, earning it a Quiet Mark seal of approval. This makes it ideal for bedrooms, home offices, and living spaces where noise is a concern. The unit features an adjustable humidistat (30%–80% RH), digital LCD display, and a practical Laundry Mode that runs the dehumidifier on full power for six hours before automatically shutting down to save energy.

Additional features include a 24-hour timer, child lock for safety, and auto-restart in the event of a power cut. The 2-litre water tank is easy to remove and comes with an automatic shut-off when full to prevent overflow. For more permanent setups, a continuous drainage option is available via a hose outlet (hose not included). Despite its strong performance, the ABC12L consumes just 155W, costing around 4p per hour to run based on a rate of 27.03p per kWh – an affordable way to maintain a healthier home environment.

Weighing just 10.4kg and featuring a neat white and silver finish, this dehumidifier is simple to move and place wherever it’s needed. Backed by a reassuring 3-year warranty, the MeacoDry ABC 12L delivers quiet, efficient humidity control in a sleek and practical design.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is a high pitched noise coming from my Compressor Dehumidifier?

Dehumidifiers using R290 refrigerant often have a high pitched noise when first starting. Similar to a car starting on a cold winter's day, the compressor will often sound different until the internal temperature has risen. This, in most cases, would take around an hour of operation.
